QUINEBAUG VALLEY REGIONAL ROTARACT CLUB
About Us
HISTORY
The Quinebaug Valley Regional (QVR) Rotaract Club is a non-profit service organization sponsored by the Putnam and Killingly Brooklyn Rotary Clubs for young professionals ages 18 to 35 who live, work, and study in Connecticut's Quiet Corner.
Formed in 2012, the club quickly established itself as a group of compassionate young adults who take service to the community seriously, but love to have a great time along the way.
In addition to the club's annual signature fundraisers, QVR Rotaract members have collectively donated hundreds of hours volunteering within our community.
MISSION
The club's mission is to provide community service and networking opportunities for young professionals living, working, or studying in Northeastern Connecticut who are committed to the Rotary motto of "Service Above Self."
The club supports the communities of Putnam, Killingy, Thompson, Woodstock, Brooklyn, and Pomfret through fundraising and volunteering for non-profit organizations.
